WHAT IS GROSTIC UPPER
CERVICAL CARE?

A specialty within chiropractic that focuses on the spatial relationship between the top two bones in the neck and your head, called the upper cervical spine, and a vital portion of the nervous system, known as the brain stem.

HOW DOES GROSTIC UPPER
CERVICAL CARE WORK?

Body Imbalance occurs when the top two bones in your neck become misaligned and out of their normal position. Stress or injury to your body can lead to an imbalance.

Tight and tense muscles, due to Body Imbalance can cause headaches and muscle or joint pain.  Muscle or joint pain, anywhere in the human body, is usually a sign of Body Imbalance.

Also, it is common to see the head tilted, a high shoulder or raised hip. When the head is tilted off center, there may be tenderness and a soreness in the neck muscles. On occasion the Short Leg is the first and only indicator of Body Imbalance.

The most compelling comment from many people is how gentle the adjustment actually is.

Body Balance is achieved when the two uppermost vertebra in your neck are restored to their normal position. The gentle adjustment to your neck helps to realign your neck to a balanced symmetrical position.

Unlike other chiropractic procedures, a 3-dimensional x-ray analysis and mathematical calculation is used to determine the correct application of the adjustment.

When it comes to results, however, the most important aspect is how precise it is.

The precision in calculating the adjustment is key to the predictable, measurable and highly effective results.

WHERE DID GROSTIC UPPER CERVICAL
CARE COME FROM?

The Grostic Procedure began development during the late 1930s to improve reliability and consistency among chiropractors.  Since that time, very few modifications have been made to the underlying premise of the protocol
